Safety Management

 Safety is very important to IBO.

In 1993, IBO - being the first construction company in Belgium to receive this – was certified  GSA (General Safety Approval) by Esso.

This means that Ibo satisfies a minimum of safety requirements imposed by Esso in order to be allowed to execute construction works in a refinery.

In 1996 this certificate was changed into the VCA** version 1995 (valid between 1996-1998).  VCA stands for : “veiligheidschecklist aannemers” (safety checklist contractors).

In the meantime 2 re-certifications have been done following the version 1997 (valid between 1999-2002) and the version 2000 (valid between 2002-2005 and  2005-2008)  and the version 2004 (valid between 2008-2011)
